SHARE YOUR HEART
In 2001 Mary Attard and I were holding an exhibition at Bay Street and I expressed my desire to hold an art therapy activity. So with the participation of some residents from Dar il-Kaptan we sat down to paint in public. This was the first Share Your Heart activity. |
In October 2002 at the Gozo Ministry in Rabat two other such activities were held, this time with the participation of residents from the Adult Training Center. Sina Farrugia, a well know ceramist and Andrea Cassar, a television personality joined us painting and sharing their time with the group of disabled persons |
The fourth and fifth Art Therapy Activities were held at the University of Malta and the Junior College respectively in the first quarter of 2003. The students, who joined the activity, had a great time and also contributed to the success of the event and the happiness of the participants. The presence of various TV personalities further enhanced the atmosphere of the event |
| In May, the sixth Share Your Heart activity was held at City Gate with great success and a lot of public participation. A group from the Adult Training Center in Gozo and another from Dar tal-Providenza. Siggiewi joined in the activity of painting together. Burger King sponsored our midday meal, Zet Canvas Works provided us with umbrellas, while the Valletta Police Station and the Buildings Office and Precincts Office of the University of Malta gave us their support |
